EIIs possess a remarkable sensitivity to the emotional dynamics present in their interactions, as well as a profound awareness of their own feelings towards others. They place immense value on cultivating deep connections and actively work to strengthen emotional ties, fostering a sense of harmony in all their relationships. When someone close to them is facing emotional distress, EIIs are often willing to go to great lengths to uplift that person, sometimes even at their own expense. Their innate ability to assess others is striking; they rely on their instincts to grasp the inner emotions of those around them. This deep-seated empathy enables them to easily connect with the feelings of others, making them acutely sensitive to people's moods. As a result, they consistently treat others with the respect and kindness they wish to receive in return.

Some EIIs will channel their narratives and experiences into stories that captivate the imagination, often featuring whimsical or childlike elements that give their tales a fairytale-like quality, inviting readers into a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary. While some EIIs lean towards a non-fiction style, they all share a common passion for making connections between seemingly unrelated ideas, particularly within the humanities. In both their work and humor, they skillfully craft playful allegories, transforming everyday stories into “wacky” and innovative insights that challenge conventional thinking. EIIs with a stronger Ne are particularly adept at producing a quick stream of associations, leading to lively, witty, and spontaneous discussions that can be both entertaining and thought-provoking. However, as introverts, they may find it challenging to maintain this energetic state for an extended period, often needing time to recharge before diving back into their creative explorations.​

This sense of uncertainty stems from their belief that not every situation can be easily classified or fit into a predetermined system. Instead, EIIs recognize that each scenario possesses its own unique and individual characteristics that must be carefully considered, making it challenging to apply a one-size-fits-all logic to complex human experiences.

While this detachment is not a strict requirement, it may also be reflected in a broader disinterest or aversion to violence and force as a way of life, further emphasizing their unique perspective.​

EIIs hold a deep respect for individuals who can accomplish tasks efficiently and neatly in the external world. However, they often overlook whether their own efforts are truly meeting their goals, if their time is yielding valuable results, and if their activities are organized in the most effective manner. They tend to subconsciously appreciate when others show interest in the effectiveness of their work and help them gain an objective perspective. Naturally curious, EIIs have a strong desire for knowledge; when intrigued by a topic, they immerse themselves in reading everything they can to gain a comprehensive understanding. They are open to listening to anyone with insights or innovative ideas, regardless of their expertise, as they believe in the value of diverse perspectives.

EIIs often find themselves feeling stressed due to the demands of their work-related activities, and may overexert themselves in their pursuit of excellence in both their professional and personal lives. They value environments that foster relaxation, as these spaces allow them to take a much needed break from their idealistic views and fully appreciate the present moment. There are times when they can be somewhat lazy and prefer the simplest approach to completing tasks. They generally prioritize their work based on personal interest rather than the urgency or significance of the tasks at hand. When they become deeply engaged in a hobby or passion, they can easily lose track of time, which often results in them being late for appointments and activities. This tendency highlights their ongoing struggles with effective time management.​

EIIs have the ability to be quite expressive and lively when they are in group settings, but this energy tends to be short-lived. They naturally gravitate towards more profound and focused conversations, often preferring to engage with just one or two close friends rather than large crowds. In social situations, they typically shy away from wildness and chaos, favoring serious and sensitive communication instead. When it comes to expressing their feelings, EIIs are usually very straightforward; they present their true selves without pretense. Even in a lively party atmosphere where everyone is expected to be cheerful, they find it challenging to mask their genuine emotions if they are feeling down. This authenticity can sometimes create misunderstandings among others, who may feel that the EII is not contributing to the upbeat and boisterous mood. As a result, those who are not familiar with the EII may mistakenly label them as grouchy or unfriendly by nature.

EIIs are skilled at keeping up with discussions about current trends and their future implications, occasionally contributing when they feel motivated. However, they prioritize exploring possibilities in their areas of interests over these discussions. While they're aware of potential future events and often warn others about possible negative outcomes, they rarely follow their own advice or expect others to do so. Se PoLR prevents them from insisting that others take their advice seriously, and their Ne ego leads them to value the chance of being wrong more than the need to avoid foreseeable issues.
