Introverted Sensing (Si):

SEIs have a natural sensitivity to their physical surroundings. They are usually acutely aware of their comfort levels in different environments and often take immediate steps to enhance their comfort. As hosts, they tend to show genuine care for the well-being of their friends and family, ensuring that everyone's needs are properly met. SEIs often remain indifferent to the external pressures surrounding them, perceiving the world as chaotic and fast-paced, making it frustratingly difficult for them to appreciate the simple joys in life. They may reject the hustle and bustle, opting instead for a calm and friendly demeanor. Rather than succumbing to productivity demands, they prioritize creating a comfortable and familiar environment. However, when required to showcase their work or themselves, they might experience social anxiety and a fear of disappointing others, leading them to overexert themselves and become diligent and responsible workers.

Extroverted Ethics (Fe):

SEIs are typically very sensitive to the emotional climate around them. They excel at lightening the mood and strive to contribute to group harmony and familiarity. When faced with a hostile or tense atmosphere, SEIs may feel uneasy and often take on the role of peacemaker to restore a sense of joy or calm. They enjoy creating a relaxed, conflict-free space where everyone can express themselves; however, they may feel confused and disheartened if someone expresses views that clash with the overall mood. Many SEIs tend to be shy, sensitive, and reserved. They adopt a gentle, friendly, and soft-spoken manner, concerned about unintentionally offending others. This can lead them to adopting a more avoidant and socially withdrawn lifestyle. SEIs typically invest a lot of energy into navigating social acceptance and interpersonal relationships.

Introverted Intuition (Ni):

SEIs are capable of mentalizing and exploring imaginative worlds, reflecting on the past, pondering the future, and identifying patterns and trends. However, they often prioritize physical, tangible, and relational aspects of life, focusing on simple pleasantries. They may show little inclination to think too hard about the future, viewing long-term considerations as somewhat unnatural and secondary to their immediate enjoyment. Yet, there are moments when they become overly aware of the need for long-term planning, leading to anxiety and a tendency to overthink or overplan, resulting in unrealistic expectations about their future.

Extroverted Logic (Te):

SEIs often struggle to adapt to tasks that require them to assess the efficiency or effectiveness of a process or to evaluate a large volume of factual information. They show little interest in synthesizing the technical or methodological aspects of a situation, preferring instead to concentrate on their own experiences and the emotional context around them. Individuals who are adept at processing and sharing factual information may come across to them as dry or harsh. Additionally, they may be skeptical and reluctant to provide feedback, especially if the project doesn't align with their personal knowledge or experience, and they often question the expertise of others if it isn't based on any direct experience. SEIs typically show a reluctance to participate in productive activities and may perceive "responsible" people or settings as overly serious, uninviting, or boring. They often view the busy nature of work-related matters as trivial, instead preferring to prioritize their own comfort and social connections.​

Extroverted Intuition (Ne):

SEIs often lead stable and reserved lifestyles. Many tend to shy away from spontaneous actions, travel, or embracing new interests. They may navigate life quietly and comfortably, feeling that there aren't many exciting pursuits available to them. Others might see them as dull or lacking creativity. However, SEIs appreciate the company of friendly and engaging people who can introduce them to new and interesting projects, broadening their horizons. They are usually open to joining in on quirky or unconventional adventures. Some SEIs might struggle to create original conceptual connections. They often find themselves drawn to obscure, theoretical, or intellectual interests, preferring to explore the frameworks through others instead of generating their own ideas. SEIs tend to absorb theories, possibilities, and new concepts well, applying them to their personal experiences and overall well-being. While they are often present-focused and may not fully recognize their imaginative potential, they can be deeply curious about certain topics, yet hesitant to seek out information on unfamiliar ideas. Additionally, they may not always be aware of the new opportunities or life paths available to them.

SEIs strive for clarity in their beliefs and understanding. They often aim to enhance their knowledge by integrating information into easy-to-remember models or systems. They tend to create belief systems based on extensive data they have processed or personal experiences, making it challenging to persuade them to reconsider these beliefs or to introduce new variables into their conceptual frameworks. SEIs are typically skilled at organizing data and may show a keen interest in the numbers and ideas they extract from it. They often feel a strong need to confirm that they have learned enough about a topic to draw clear conclusions. They tend to resist the notion that acquiring expertise is an ongoing journey rather than a final destination, and may not appreciate it when others highlight or show that their understanding is not as conclusive they believed.​

Extroverted Sensing (Se):

SEIs typically have a strong aversion to conflict and aggression. They feel uncomfortable and unsettled in environments where conflict, competitiveness, aggressive behavior are common. As a result, SEIs may struggle to assert themselves or say no, leading some to overlook the harshness of their surroundings in favor of maintaining a positive outlook. They make a point to avoid being aggressive, rowdy, or hurtful. SEIs are usually not concerned with political hierarchies or power dynamics; they tend to believe that kindness and decency can lead to a better situation for everyone.

SEIs typically avoid making harsh or dismissive moral or ethical judgments. They prefer to keep a positive outlook and view people's behavior and interactions as influenced by the situation and the overall emotional environment, rather than as indicators of their character. SEIs may excel at grasping the relational and emotional states of others, but they often prioritize fostering a friendly and positive atmosphere over validating the good intentions of those around them. As a result, they may tend to overlook disagreements and differences.​
